1. GAMORREAN GUARD
arguably the most taciturn members of the squad, and certainly won't win any prizes for looks, 'gam' has a tendancy to
rush in without thinking. having said that, power and teak hard toughness makes him the ideal loosehead.
2.R2D2
compact and squat, always has a answer when things get a bit tough and has bags of courage. mobility around the park
is a bit of a problem but has mastered the role of encrypting the line out calls so only his teammates can understand them.
3.JABBA THE HUTT
powerful and absolutley immovable in the scrum, but serious questions marks over fitness and his ability to go the distance.
dont get involvedin his antics at the post match dinner.
4. CHEWBACCA
brought to the club on a free signing, he is an ideal front jumper who dominates the line-out with his huge hands and
massive reach. doubts over his temperament but tough as nails and his loyalty to teammates is beyond reproach.
5.DARTH VADER
the 'all black' demands huge respect and at over two meters tall he is in a awesome presence on the park- although sometimes
short of breath. able to lift his line-out partners without even touching them and was one of the first players to adopt body
armour.
6.WICKET W.WARRICK
some might saythe ewok is too small for a role at blindside but always seems to able to handle the rough and tumble of
battle. a scavenger by trade, he is often first to the breakdown and has a canny ability to escape the attention of the authorites.
7.BOBA FETT
the son of the illustrious jango, boba has taken over his fathers role with relish and taken the art of openside play
to a new level. gained a bit of a reputation as a mercenary, but is a big crowd favorite. lean, mean and hunts down the oppostion
with relentness vigour. annoyingly though, can seem to disappear midway through the action.
8.MACE WINDU
more normally thought of as a man of words, he may not seem the natural candidate for the role of a barrelling No.8 but
possesses a sensible head on broad shoulders. a calming influence as the leader of the pack, he has learnt from past mistakes
to settle in to the role.
9.DARTH MAUL
nimble on his feet, quick hands and nuggety toughness makes him the ideal half back but does have a quick temper with
a tendency to self destruct.
10.LUKE SKYWALKER
the pretty boy of the club who learnt his trade on the hard grounds of tatoonie and bounced back from a nasty hand injury
at the peak of his career. deadly accurate, with a sharp mind to boot, he has learntto deal with presure and can deliver the
ball with pinpoint accuracy.
11.PRINCESS LEIA
bit of a girl if truth be told, with some dodgy hairstyles, but not afraid to get involved in the action, travelled to
most places in the galaxy and is probably the fittest member of the squad.
12.HANS SOLO
lacks committment in training but always turns on thye style when it comes to the crunch. bit of a chancer, has frozen
before midway through the action but has huge pace, having completed the kessel run in record time.
13.LANDO CALRISSIAN
forms a effective, if somewhat tempermental, double act with his partner in crime han solo. brilliant handling and always
able to spot an opportunity, calrissian emerged from the shadows to be a valuable member of team.
14.C3P0
versatility gets him in the side, certainly a little lightweight in defence and has nothing that resembles pace. a good
communicator, he is often on hand to extricate his teammates when they get into trouble.
15.OBI-WAN KENOBI (C)
been there, done that. getting on in years, the club captain is a safe and reliable pair of hands. what he lacks in speed,
he more than makes up in experience and has been able to pass on his knowledge to some of the youngsters. has in-built ability
to ghost around the park and even when knocked down, always comes back stronger.
COACH: YODA
inspiration coach who seems to have been around for years. able to get the most out of his troops with some legendary
motivational techniques. a true pocket genius.
